• This clutch uses a shorter clutch stack than OEM. In order to prevent the friction plates from bottoming out on the clutch basket, you must install them so that all the tangs are in the same slot in the clutch basket. If you offset the last plate, the clutch will NOT work properly, and you may damage both the plates and the slipper clutch itself.
  
  The corse clutch uses a special driven plate stack (part # T16715)

16713 Antihopping slipper clutch CBR600RR 2007 – mounting instructions

Congratulation, you bought one of best clutch systems for your CBR. This clutch is developed for experienced racing teams and is extremely lightened for improving racing performance.

This clutch should be installed by an experienced Honda workshop, or mechanic.

1. Read this instructions with photos before you start. Check if the set includes all parts.
2. Remount the old clutch drum ( according Honda workshop manual ), clean the threads on the shaft from old glue with brake cleaner.
3. Put shim ( STD ) between basket and drum, when you replace it ( pic. a ).
4. Install slipper drum, be careful to not drop the balls into engine case ( pic.b,c ), it helps you to install one clutch spring with retainer to hold the hub to the back plate. This must be removed after drum installing.
5. Put the kit steel washers ( pic.d ). Mount the spider spring ( pic.e ).
6. Tighten the big nut ( kit ) with torque 127 Nm and secure it with glue Loctite No. 620. (RED) ( fig. f,g ).
7. To reduce the rotary weight this slipper clutch is designed to use STD clutch plates with combination of thinner steel 1,6mm and 2.0mm plates . Usual set-up is 5 pcs. 2.0mm and 2 pcs. 1.6mm. In the STD clutch plates set are thin steel rings there. These rings and friction plate are never installed first ( from case) in the STD position ( pic. h ). A normal friction plate and new steel drive plate mount as STD, then the narrow friction and judder springs. Then continue with the normal stack. NOTE ALL FRICTIONS MOUNT IN THE SAME SLOT! ( pic. i,j ). If you offset the last plate, the clutch will slip.
8. Put the STD push rod ( pic. i )
9. Install pressure plate ( pic. k )
10. Put STD clutch springs in position as before, put spring kit-retainers , tighten all M5 bolts with torque 8 Nm ( pic. l ).

Check the correct clearance between pressure plate and clutch hub vial the holes in the pressure plate. Correct clearance is 1.0 mm. When the clearance is worn to 0,5 , replace all friction plates. In this case change all friction plates to new ones.
