Connecting to Bluetooth

Open Bluetooth program

Make new Connection

Default through prompts

If asked for passkey, enter 0000

Note com port assigned.

Com port is needed by the DigiRace Software

Updating Firmware

Open Device, then Firmware Update. Please note the status is "Disconnected". This is normal for the Firmware update.

Select new Firmware Version. These can be downloaded from the Starlane site. Please do this prior to updating the ATHON

Click Update button

The Screen will slightly change, and the progress bar will illuminate one segment. The progress bar will NOT move until the firmware update is completed. This process takes about 10 minutes. During the Update the ATHON will flash the PC mark on the display.

Click OK on the information screen, and then close the Firmware Update window.

Next, the Athon has to be re-booted

Power down the Athon and restart it. During the start up, a new screen should be visible.

This screen will show the new software being updated. After the successful update, the new Firmware version should show in the lower right hand corner when the Athon is booted up.
