19703 Antihopping clutch kit GSXR 600/750 2009 - mounting instructions

Congratulations, you bought one of the best clutch systems for your GSXR.

This clutch should be installed by an experienced Suzuki service center, or experienced mechanic.

1. Read these instructions with photos before you start. Check if the kit includes all parts.
2. Remove the old clutch ( according Suzuki workshop manual ), clean the threads on the shaft and main nut of old glue perfectly. Clean these parts with brake cleaner.
3. Check the original shim under the clutch drum is still in it´s position ( pic.a).
4. This slipper clutch is delivered pre-mounted. Install the clutch to the gearbox shaft ( pic.b )
5. Put spring shim ( kit ) ( pic.c ), mount standard main nut ( pic.d ), and tighten it with torque 120 Nm ( pic.e ). To secure, use a strong thread glue ( Würth, Berner, Loctite RED ).
6. Install clutch plates. This clutch is designed for standard plates. We suggest installing a normal friction plate first, then a steel plate. After that install the special friction plate with the associated thin steel rings. Install the remaining clutch plates in position as usual ( fig. f, g, h, i ) )
7. Install push rod with shims and bearing ( fig. j,k)
8. Install the pressure plate. Install clutch springs with kit retainers and M5x 25mm kit bolts ( torque 8 Nm ).( fig l )
9. Check the clearance between pressure plate and clutch hub via the small holes in the pressure plate. The correct clearance is about 1,0 mm, minimum clearance is 0,5mm. When the clutch plates wear to this minimum dimension, replace all the clutch plates.

11. Adjust clearance on clutch lever
12. Install clutch cover according Suzuki workshop manual and go back to track.
